Absolute Pants

I haven't posted for a while. I've written a few pages but they've been absolute pants, so I hit the delete button. It seems as if I'm taking one step forward and two back lately. Which can't be the case, as my fingers wouldn't reach the keyboard and I wouldn't be typing and you reading this drival. So I guess, thinking about what's going wrong when I'm things seem shitty is a bad idea. One positive though. I keep plugging away. As per my hero CG.
In other news. Those of you that read "In pursuit of happiness" will be happy to learn that Med's a dad again.
Lastly, thanks Pixie for the smile. After a crappy day it cheered me up.

Onwards and upwards in the pursuit of fulfillment and happyness :-)

(oh and before you ask, that's not a picture of me in the big pants)

  1. I used to read Med, but then he fixed it so only invited readers could read. And he didn't invite me.

I love the difference in the English language. I was talking about that with a friend yesterday. I had a young Englishman many years ago tell me that if he drove past our house and the lights were still on, he'd come over and knock me up.

Which has a wholly different meaning in US English.

Hang in there is trite, but it's also really true... keep plugging along and things will change. I'm in a state myself right now, so I hear ya.

    1. English English v USA English. Trunk makes more sense than Boot (USA 1 UK 0) points shared on Hood and Bonnet but do you really call the Sun Roof a Moon Roof? Then we get to Fanny oh my, there's a big difference there :-)

  2. Well, no wonder you are feeling squiffy. Nobody wants to see pants like that. Even I feel squiffy now. So you can delete those pants, most certainly, but not your posts, shitty or otherwise (posts, not pants). :) P

  3. Will you forward my congratulations to Med and the lovely Alicia?
I don't know why he didn't want me reading anymore... but I wish him well.

  4. Aims, Med closed his blog, I thought the same as you. So I asked him. I'll pass on your good wishes, although I think he reads the blog, just so he can torment me by text :-)
